In the past two years, they’ve donated to The Trevor Project and the SF LGBT Center , with over $60,000 donated last year alone.

This year for Pride, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, PLUS is excited to partner with the SF Queer Nightlife Fund (SF QNF) in order to focus our impact on those within the LGBTQ community disproportionately affected by the financial crisis that the pandemic has caused. Nightlife is central to the Bay Area’s queer culture and is the core of the community. People working to keep that industry alive and vibrant have suddenly found themselves out of work. SF QNF has stepped in to help the most vulnerable members of their community in a time of great need.

I wanted to be involved in starting this fund to address the struggle of those who make the magic of nightlife happen—to address their own individual needs and to secure the endurance of queer nightlife in the Bay Area," says Phil Hammack, Founder and Chair of the Steering Committee of the QNF.
